VALENCIA, Spain – 01,July 2021.
The Spain-based indie games developer Chibig Studio are today very proud and excited to announce that episode one of their charming visual novel “Stories of Mara – Chapter One”, is coming to PC via Steam and Itch.io this Summer (2021), and it’s going to be 100% free on launch.

Set in the same universe as Deiland Pocket Planet and Summer in Mara, Stories of Mara will follow the struggles and desires of its inhabitants at a brand-new summertime journey with colorful visuals.

Get to know and bond with a diverse cast through different chapters where your choices will define the course of the story and affect the relationships with the community.

Chapter One starts following Akaji, a procrastinating blacksmith who has to ask for the help of all her neighbours to find Koa, who has disappeared, while dealing with her own issues.

Stories of Mara – Chapter One will be available digitally for free on Steam and itch.io this summer.

Features:

A bit-sized slice of life visual novel following a diverse cast from the calm and relaxing supernatural world of Summer in Mara. A soap opera featuring from trickster pirates to adventurer cat-childs.
Depending on how you bond with the cast will affect the relationships with the community and the ending. Your choices matter in the course of the story throughout different chapters.
Express yourself through making boat modelism to share with the rest of the community. This will impact how they see you and how you see them.
Visuals inspired by the Studio Ghibli films with a modern setting in a fantasy universe.

Chibig makes cozy and cute games for everyone, combining farming and relaxing adventures settled in fantastical worlds full of wonder. Chibig doesn’t develop only games, we are creating a universe, and you will have to take care of it.

We started our journey in 2016. At first with small mobile games which were the spark of this universe. After the humble success of these games, the universe was expanded with the release of Deiland: Pocket Planet and Summer in Mara. More charming and compelling tales are about to be discovered in upcoming projects.
