Montpellier, France – June 6th, 2026. Independent French studio LifeLine Games and French publisher Dear Villagers, have announced that cinematic platforming indie game Deer & Boy will release on June 23rd, 2026 on PC (Steam/Steam Deck Verified and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series for 19,99€/$19,99/£17,99. A 10% launch discount will be available during the first week after the release. A new trailer showcasing gameplay has just premiered.

First revealed during the 2024 Summer Games Fest, Deer & Boy is a touching story about a boy fleeing from his home. Upon getting lost, he stumbles on a frightened fawn, and they both quickly realize how much they need each other to face the struggles of their lives and how their unexpected, yet poetic friendship will take them further than they ever hoped.

A demo is available on Steam for players who wish to discover the early chapters of this emotional tale.
