Thunderful and independent developer Wishfully have released an 18-minute “Planet of Lana” developer commentary talking players through some of the systems players can expect to encounter in the game and the design choices the team has made in building this anticipated puzzle adventure game ahead of its release on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in Spring 2023.

The gameplay footage shows off some lush green landscapes and dark caves – just a few of the awe-inspiring natural environments that will be on show in the full game. It also showcases some of the cool companion mechanics players can expect to experience between Lana and her cat-like companion Mui as they work together to overcome obstacles and outsmart deadly robotic foes. Creative director Adam Stjarnljus and co-director and script writer Klas Eriksson offer some intriguing insights on what’s on show in the gameplay and what we can expect to encounter in the full game next year.

Planet of Lana’s stunning hand-painted visuals, unforgettable story and epic soundtrack will be coming exclusively to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam® and the Windows 10 Store in Spring 2023.
