Press releaase:
[October 23, 2024].
The Novosibirsk-based (Russia) indie games publisher and developer Alawar together with Tomsk-based (Siberia) indie games developer Yustas, are today very glad and proud to announce that their city-building/card game “Technotopia“, is now available for PC via Steam.

Starting today, become Iris, the architect of Technotopia, and build towering skyscrapers and manage the complexities of inner-city factions as you strive to build utopia.

In Technotopia, you’re in charge of saving a city on the brink of collapse and bringing it into the future. Using a unique deck of cards, build districts, preside over the challenges of four powerful (and competing) factions – aristocrats, politicians, capitalists, and the common people – and balance the needs and ambitions of each. As your city rises to touch the sky, your leadership will be tested as you shape the future of this metropolis.

Technotopia is available now on PC via Steam for $4.99, with a 10% launch discount lasting for 14 days after launch. Stay up to date by checking out the Steam News Hub, as well as by following Alawar on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and joining the official Alawar Discord to keep up with the latest news.

Key Features:

Build a Perfect City: Manage the deck of cards with buildings at your disposal. Use the cards to build skyscrapers, parks, residential districts, and transportation highways.

Maintain the Delicate Balance: Capitalists, aristocrats, politicians, and the common people are fighting to establish their authority and control over the city. Try to maintain the balance needed for a truly perfect city.
Navigating Obstacles: Address the random events that could be triggered by constructing buildings and more. Listen to the factions to solve urban problems, but be wary of the consequences.
