13 August 2026 – Waving Bear Studio and Amplified Games are excited to announce their newest release, STUFFED: Two Foot Hero, at the VR Games Showcase pre-show today. The wave-based shooter launches Fall 2026 on Meta Quest and Steam VR. The original Stuffed released on Steam and Xbox in 2024, and STUFFED: Two Foot Hero follows fan requests to bring the game to virtual reality headsets. The sequel comes with new mechanics, maps, weapons, enemies, and bosses meaning there’s plenty of content for new and returning STUFFED fans alike.

STUFFED: Two Foot Hero is a family-friendly horde shooter set in the dreams of a little girl. Often described by fans as “Call of Duty meets Toy Story,” the game puts players in control of a teddy bear defending its owner against waves of nightmares. Play solo or team up with up to four players, perfect for family game night or a session with friends.

STUFFED: Two Foot Hero provides players with a fully stocked arsenal, including 12 weapons and a trusty hammer. Returning favorites like the confetti-firing revolver Rock Em Pop Em are joined by new additions such as Bubble Trouble, a laundry detergent submachine gun that fires bubbles, and Paper Cut, a cute (yet deadly) cardboard sword. When weapons alone aren’t enough, players can turn the tide with turrets, decoy balloons, fan traps and more.

The game features six fully designed maps, spread across three themes: House, Funfair and Castle. Each theme brings its own unique enemies to face, and hides easter eggs tied to the game’s growing lore.

Speaking about how the idea of STUFFED: Two Foot Hero came about, Lead Artist, Lucy Earp said: “Fans of the original STUFFED kept asking for VR, it just made so much sense for STUFFED, so we rebuilt it from the ground up allowing players to experience the world from a two-foot-tall teddy bear and get hands on with the awesome weapons. There were so many ideas we wanted to put in the original that never made it in, and its been really exciting to explore that in this new title, we’re very grateful for the opportunity – we can’t wait for players to experience it”.
