NEW YORK — SEPTEMBER 10, 2026 — Indie developer Great Oak Games and publisher Loopr Partners today revealed Angler’s Lake, a cozy fishing game designed for players looking to relax, catch fish, and enjoy short, stress-free sessions. The game is coming soon to Steam.

In Angler’s Lake, players cast their line into a scenic lake filled with common, rare, and epic fish. Fishing is easy to pick up, with players timing their casts and hooks to successfully bring in their catch. Each fishing session rewards players with tokens that can be spent on upgrading their gear. Better equipment helps players improve their fishing setup and continue working toward catching the lake’s more valuable fish.
