Los Angeles, US, March 19, 2026 – Today, Award-winning independent game studio Ember Lab is pleased to announce that their critically acclaimed story-driven action adventure game Kena: Bridge of Spirits will launch on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on March 26 in North America, Europe, and Asia (and March 25 in Thailand). Nintendo console players in North America and Europe who are eager to start their own journey with Spirit Guide Kena and her adorable yet powerful Rot companions can pre-order the game starting today in the Nintendo™ eShop.

The critically acclaimed Kena: Bridge of Spirits first launched on PlayStation platforms in September 2021 and went on to win several awards including Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards 2021. The game welcomes players into a charming, mysterious world that blends exploration, puzzle-solving, fast-paced combat, and a compelling story. As Kena, a young Spirit Guide searching for the sacred Mountain Shrine, players uncover the secrets of a forgotten village and help free trapped spirits with the help of the Rot – her adorable yet powerful companions.

Find and befriend the timid and illusive Rot spirits scattered throughout the forest and unlock their abilities to help you clear the corruption from the village.

Explore a once-majestic world, filled to the brim with hidden nooks and crannies, as you uncover hidden secrets and rewards, including Rot Hats to customize your Rot companions.

Uncover charmstones that provide advantages and disadvantages to customize your playstyle. Unlock new areas by uncovering and delivering Spirit Mail left behind by lost Spirits.

Engage in fast-paced combat as you take on the Corrupt Spirits that challenge Kena at every turn. Hone your melee and ranged attack skills, command the powers of your Rot companions, and upgrade your abilities and powers Engage in the Spirit Guide Trails to unlock rewards and improve your abilities as you work to become a skilled Spirit Guide.

Begin your adventure anew with New Game+ with fresh encounters, greater challenges, and unique enemies.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version comes complete with the previously released Anniversary DLC, which features Charmstones, Spirit Guide Trials, Kena Outfits, and accessibility features. It also features New Game+ mode, which allows players who’ve completed the game to restart Kena’s journey with all of their previously unlocked abilities, including upgrades, outfits, Rot, and more, as well as redesigned and more challenging combat encounters.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 in North America, Europe and Asia on March 26 2026, and in Thailand on March 25, 2026, with a release date for Taiwan to be announced soon. Preorders in North America and Europe are open today.

The game is currently available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
