The Germany-based indie games publisher/developer Assemble Entertainment and Estonia-based indie games developer Chaosmonger Studio, are today very happy and thrilled to announce that their Bladerunner-meets-Full Throttle point-and-click adventure game, “Encodya“, is now available on the PS4 (via PSN), Xbox One (via the Microsoft Store) and Nintendo Switch (via the Nintendo Eshop).

It’s time to turn a dystopia into a thriving utopia in Assemble Entertainment’s cyberpunk-inspired point-and-click adventure ENCODYA — now available for digital download on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. From developer Chaosmonger Studio, ENCODYA follows the story of an orphan girl in Neo-Berlin left to the “wolves,” aka, a merciless, angry, and miserable society held under the clutches of tyrannical corporations in a grimly futuristic 2062. All hope is not lost, however, as little nine-year-old Tina has the company of a massive mechanical brute: a robotic friend called SAM-53. Together, the two must undertake a critical mission to save the world as they know it.

Tina and SAM-53’s adventures take them across different realities full of bizarre robotic creatures and grotesque human beings. Through puzzles and exciting dialogue, they’ll find out the true meaning of being alive. ENCODYA captures the sweetness and wonder of Studio Ghibli while embracing a Blade Runner-esque atmosphere and environment.

As Chaosmonger Studios’ debut title, ENCODYA launched on PC via Steam earlier this year to overwhelming critical acclaim.

ENCODYA is now available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for £24.99 / €29.99, with a limited-time 20% launch discount for the Switch and Xbox versions. The PC version on Steam can be purchased for £21.99 / €24.99 with Assemble Entertainment’s usual “Save the World” Edition, which includes the game’s art book, soundtrack, exclusive wallpapers, and a collection of developer diaries for £31.99 / €34.99. ENCODYA’s “Save the World” Edition supports Plan International, a charity committed to advancing children’s rights and equality for young girls.
