Copenhagen, Denmark – September 23, 2026 | Indie two-brother team yeah/nice has announced in the Companion Falls for You Steam festival that their desktop companion RPG Venture Pals is launching on PC, Mac & Linux (via Steam) on December 4, 2026.

In Venture Pals, choose your own Pal and venture out to grind skills and gather loot right from your desktop. Forge powerful gear, cook and brew invigorating meals and potions, and discover rare cosmetics. Manage energy, cleanliness, and training to grow. Or, just enjoy the company of your Pal.

“Hunti had been playing a lot of Runescape at the time and also really wanted to get himself a Tamagotchi for the nostalgia.” Shared the yeah/nice team.

“We were inspired a lot by the desktop companion games, mostly due to the comfy minimalism and simplicity. This is when the idea sprung up, to merge all of these concepts into Venture Pals. Aidan is always keen for anything that would immortalize his best friend Loki (who you’ll see in the beginning of our trailer), so he was the very first Pal we added to the game, and later we added our cat, Henry, and the tortoise shell.”

“As with most projects, we thought it’d be just a few months. But, here we are, a year and a half later, and we’re glad for the extra work we put in to make this game the delightful experience we have today.”

Venture Pals is slated to release on PC, Mac & Linux (via Steam) on December 4, 2026 for $5.99 USD, with a 15% launch discount planned for the first week.
