Press release:
Brno, Czech Republic – June 8, 2026 | Brocap Studio, a three-person independent studio from Brno, is excited to announce that their charming dog adventure Hubert has won Best Game at the international Game Access Conference 2026, voted entirely by festival attendees. The game has gathered over 30,000 wishlists on Steam ahead of its upcoming release. A free demo is available now on Steam.
About the Game
Meet Hubert, a fluffy, overconfident shepherd dog with a nose for trouble. He sees the world through movement, scent, instinct, and curiosity. You experience everything through his eyes.
By his side is Lily, a sharp-witted kid who just convinced the grumpiest farmer in the valley to give them both a job. Their mission is to herd dozens of mildly chaotic sheep across the pastures. Easy, right?
Not when the sheep have the attention span of a goldfish, and the farmer has zero patience.
Beyond the farm, in the uncharted northern wilderness, the land grows quieter and stranger. Something is out there. Not just a threat, but a call that Hubert understands in ways he cannot fully explain.
A tale of friendship, bravery, and barking at sheep.
Warning: This game contains mild mischief, stubborn sheep, and a dog who thinks he is the main character. He might be right.
About Brocap Studio
The three-person team brings over 15 years of combined industry experience, with credits including Mafia: The Old Country, Last Train Home, and Crime Boss: Rockay City. The studio has invested more than 3 million CZK of its own funds into Hubert’s development.
