The London-based (The UK) indie games publisher PQube and the Poland-based indie games developer Crazy Goat Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that their HOMM-inspired turn-based strategy/roguelite/RPG “The Dragoness: Command of the Flame“, is now available for PC (via Steam, EGS, and GOG) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and the Xbox One) via digital stores (the Nintendo Switch version is launching on September 7th, 2023).

Venture into the war-torn realm of the Drairthir Peninsula, home of the regal Dragoness. Following a devastating civil war, the Dragoness has requested the aid of a veteran elvish Commander to lead her forces on a mission to reclaim her once prosperous kingdom. Battle the wicked Shai-Va forces by building your army and harnessing the six schools of arcane magic to gain the edge in battle.

Heroes of Might & Magic-inspired strategy RPG now on consoles – Build your stronghold, explore the war-torn lands and partake in tactical grid-based combat!
Enhance your skills by achieving victory in battle, completing quests and exploring the furthest corners of the peninsula.
Restore the capital of Níwenborh with various buildings and upgrades. Utilise these assets to enhance your units, forge magical artefacts, and draft powerful new allies.
Embark on an expansive 30+ hour campaign with four distinct regions to explore.
Grow your army and experiment with 40 unique units, each with their own specialisations and abilities to discover.
Death is not the end, replay completed levels and beat challenges to gain additional special runes and resources with roguelite mechanics.

THE ARMIES OF NIWENBORH
Recruit up to 40 unique units to bolster your armies and fight back against The Dragoness’ enemies. With Melee, Ranged, Magic and Support units available from the 4 corners of the Drairthir peninsula, customise your forces to suit your playstyle. Here’s a snapshot of the many units you’ll be commanding!

HARPY
Found in the verdant forests of Grassholt, this is a spellcasting support unit that is nimble yet fragile.

Spells & Abilities:
Exhaust – Decreases melee and ranged attack power of the target monster by 50% of it’s base stat for 3 turns

Blur – Increases dodge by 30% for 3 turns

FROST DRAGON
Found in the icy peaks of Frosthyll, this powerful unit has a strong jaw and claws that can tear through enemies at close range.

Spells & Abilities:
Magic Penetration – Decreases magic resistance of target monster by 50% for 3 turns.

DESERT VIPER
From the deserts of Watan, this snake-like being is a wise shaman that is able to tolerate heat well. They can also heal allies on the battlefield.

Spells & Abilities:
Rejuvenation – Heals target monster by 10 health points each turn for 3 turns.

CURSING TENT
An odd unit from the corrupted depths of Zildarya, this ancient mechanism is imbued with the remnants of old magic. This unit can cast curses automatically.

Spells & Abilities:
Curse – Capable of casting various curses on enemy units, including movement limitation and attack damage reduction
