Developer Monochrome and Publisher Hatinh Interactive have revealed a new accolades trailer for renowned action and adventure puzzle platformer “Tandem: A Tale of Shadows“, now available on PC, Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game has earned global recognition from players and leading media outlets and several award shows for its innovative dual gameplay, jaw-dropping visuals and haunting atmosphere.

A few of Tandem’s recent honors include MEGAMIGS 2021’s Grand Prix and Best Game Design Awards, Busan Indie Connect Festival 2021’s Excellence in Game Design Award, and Bit Summit 2021’s Online Media Highlight Award.

In celebration of Tandem’s success, the developer and publisher have announced that physical and collector’s editions for the title will arrive for PS4 and Switch early next year in partnership with Funstock. Tandem’s collector’s edition will include a physical copy of the game, an exclusive artbook and a figurine of Emma.

Tandem follows a headstrong girl named Emma and a mysterious teddy bear named Fenton as they attempt to find clues regarding Thomas Kane’s disappearance. Players must alternate between Emma’s top-down view and Fenton’s horizontal side-scroller view in order to survive Kane’s murderous manor and discover their place in a spellbinding universe filled with twists and turns.

Stunning Art Direction
Discover playful and frightening worlds inspired by Jules Vernes, Conan Doyle, Tim Burton and Victorian era architecture.

Clever Puzzles
Solve over forty puzzles and obstacles in order to unravel the mystery surrounding Thomas Kane’s disappearance.

Dual Gameplay
Swap perspectives between Emma and Fenton. Light up the scene and cast shadows as Emma from a top-down view. Walk on shadows projected by Emma’s lantern from Fenton’s side-scroller view.

Fight With Strategy
Players will face mechanical toy-like enemies and bosses throughout each dimension. Since Emma’s strategy is passive, players must rely on their wit to move forward.

Narrative-Driven Adventure
Players are invited to discover creative and elaborate cutscenes. Clever fans will find hidden rooms that reveal clues about the disappearance of Thomas Kane.

Diverse Mechanics
Push or pull objects to create shadows. Use alarms and traps to your advantage. Tandem features a variety of interactive elements for players to experiment with.
