The Walnut Creek-based (CA, the US) indie games publisher Maximum Entertainment and Almaty-based (Kazakhstan) indie games developer Goodwin Games, are today very pleased and excited to announce that their emotional exploration game “Selfloss”, is now available for consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch) worldwide.

In Selfloss the players will explore the boundary between life and death, uncovering a tale of grief, loss, and healing. Plagued by his own grief and inability to move on, the wise healer Kasimir is tasked with a quest to perform the Selfloss ritual. On his journey, he will fight the miasma corrupting this magical world, meet a myriad of curious inhabitants of the Yord and learn stories that will change his life forever.

But players won’t be travelling through this story alone. Accompanied by Kazimir’s magical staff, which they control independently from the healer, players will fight and light their way through the darkness, getting one step closer to discovering both the mysteries of Yord and the pain plaguing Kazimirs’ heart in an attempt to heal the wounds that plague this lost soul.

Inspired by the rich tales and myths of Slavic folklore, players will embrace the haunting beauty of a world that has once lost all hope of ever seeing the light again. Can they light the way or will their story end in a world consumed by darkness?

In addition to the digital launch, physical versions will also be available from September 13th on PS5 & Nintendo Switch at all good retailers including Signature Edition Games.
