The Austin-based (Texas, the US) indie games publisher Devolver Digital and Barcelona-based (Spain) indie games developer Nomada Studio (the visionary team behind critically acclaimed indie hit “Gris”), are today super excited and proud to announce that their emotionally-charged action adventure “Neva“, is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) in 2024.

Experience the moving tale of a young woman and her lifelong bond with a magnificent wolf as they embark on a thrilling adventure through a dying world.

Following a traumatic encounter with dark forces, Alba finds herself bound to a curious, mischievous wolf cub. Working together, the pair will help each other overcome increasingly dangerous situations. The wolf will grow and mature over time—as will Alba’s relationship with it as they traverse this cursed, decaying world.

Building on what Nomada Studio achieved with Gris, the game will feature platforming, puzzles, and combat against monstrous enemies, with a minimal UI, delicate art, high-quality traditional animation, and haunting music.

About Nomada Studio:
After a few years spread around the world making AAA games and interactive experiences, long time friends Adrián Cuevas and Roger Mendoza met artist Conrad Roset back home in Barcelona who had had an itch for bringing his art to the realm of videogames for a long time. They instantly clicked and set to create their first videogame, GRIS; Which will bring the artist’s unique style to an interactive world of wonder.
