Press release:
The Austin-based (Texas, the US) indie games publisher Devolver Digital and Barcelona-based (Spain) indie games developer Nomada Studio (the visionary team behind critically acclaimed indie hit “Gris”), are today super excited and proud to announce that their emotionally-charged action adventure “Neva“, is now available for (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores.
Experience the moving tale of Alba and her lifelong bond with a magnificent wolf, Neva, as they embark on a thrilling adventure through a dying world.
Following a traumatic encounter with dark forces, Alba finds herself bound to a curious, mischievous wolf cub. Working together, the pair help each other overcome increasingly dangerous situations and battle strange, violent creatures.
The wolf will grow and mature over time—as will Alba’s relationship with it as they traverse this cursed, decaying world together.
Building on what Nomada Studio achieved with Gris, Neva features platforming, puzzles, and combat against monstrous enemies, with a minimal UI, delicate art, high quality traditional animation, and a haunting musical score by Berlinist.
You can experience this unforgettable adventure for yourself today on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
