The Montreal-based (Quebec, Canada) indie/retro games publisher Incube8 Games and Chiang Mai-based (Thailand) indie games developer Nara Makes Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that their retro-like exploration/adventure “The Mayor Of Sanctuary“, is soon coming digitally and physically to the Game Boy Color.

As Yuu, the former mayor of Anzen, you had hoped for a quiet retirement away from the hustle of civic life. However, the peace you sought is shattered when a wave of cursed spirits begin to emerge from the once tranquil forests of Sanctuary. It is now up to you to return to Anzen and connect with its inhabitants to unravel the mysteries behind the unrest.

Embark on a journey of casual exploration through a large unique map, brimming with charming characters and captivating scenery. This leisurely experience offers mild combat, light puzzles, and hidden secrets waiting to be discovered.

His previous professional work included graphic design, web programming and photography. During the 2020 global pandemic, Anthony spent eleven months in Nara, Japan, where he focused his passion in retro video games.
