The Petaling Jaya-based (Malaysia) indie games developer Weyrdworks are today very happy and excited to announce that their F2P virtual pet sim “Weyrdlets“, is now available for PC via Steam.

Harkening to the nostalgia of the early 2000s, Weyrdlets melds the best of titles like Nintendogs and Tamagotchi while also aiding players in day-to-day tasks. What’s better than a kawaii little creature keeping them company? Helping with completing the dreaded to-do list, of course!

While raising their pets up, players can collect charming items, personalize their pet’s appearance with various accessories, and embrace their inner interior designer, curating their pet’s home, furniture, and overall vibe.

There’s time for work among all the fun and games, though! When they’re not waddling around and being adorable, the Weyrdlets also assist with daily activities through features like the integrated Pomodoro Timer and To-Do list. Plus, while they idle, your Werydlets accumulate coins—in-game currency that allows players to purchase even more delightful items within the game!
