About shapez 2
shapez 2 is a top-down factory-building game where you extract and process geometric shapes. Each shape has its own set of building-blocks that your factories can take apart, stack, paint and put back together in unique ways. Automate the processing of geometric shapes, build massive factories and optimize them to solve increasingly complex logistics and automation tasks! shapez 2 is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as part of the federal government’s computer games funding.

The first shapez game sold more than 500,000 units on Steam and attracted more than 10 million players to its demo on shapez.io. With over 200,000 wishlists on Steam, sequel shapez 2 has become one of the 150 most-wishlisted games on Steam. Fans of automation, logistics, train and logic games cannot wait to get their hands on this one.

Features at release:

Multi-Layer 3D Factories: Design and optimize your factories in a whole new dimension

Trains: Connect distant stations with a network of space trains

Research System: Unlock buildings, mechanics & upgrades in the all-new tech tree

New Shape Mechanics: Discover new shapes types with unique properties and logic

Blueprint Library: Save, load, export and share factory design blueprints with anyone

All-new Visuals: Build factories and stations in a stunning immersive space environment

Fluids: Use different types of liquids to process shapes or boost production

Animated Open Buildings: See exactly what’s happening inside buildings in your factory

Undo/Redo: Gain the ability to undo/redo unwanted operations

About tobspr Games
tobspr Games is an independent game development studio from Germany that was founded in 2018 by Tobias Springer. The company began as a hobby with a focus on webgames: the studio’s first game was a tower defense game called “YORG.io”. After it became clear that a much larger player base could be built on Steam, the concept switched to a hybrid approach: demo on the web and full version on Steam.

Since the success of shapez the focus is now 100% on Steam. The team behind the studio continues to expand as it concentrates on shapez 2.
