September 29, 2026 | Solo developer Klenisho Games has announced The Citadel Must Hold, a fantasy base-building RTS coming to PC via Steam. Command powerful heroes and their armies as you grow your fortress-settlement to withstand the might of the monster tides.
The Citadel Must Hold mixes classic RTS hero and army management with wave-survival elements where you will be defending your citadel against thousands of monsters. Between the waves, venture out into the wilderness across various biomes to fight enemy encampments called, Places of Power. The rewards from defeating the Place of Power can affect the hero, army, economy, map, or more. Grow your city and overcome the monster tides. Players who choose to ignore these Places of Power, will suffer their raids.
