The Paris-based (France) indie games developer Gemelli Games today announced with great happiness and excitement that their fantasy tactical RPG “Skygard Arena“, is available for PC via Steam Early Access at the price of £16.75 / $19.99 / €19.99.

In Skygard Arena, players lead the Champions of five factions vying for victory in the Tournament of the Ancients, where disputes are settled through intense strategic battles. In the arena, master the game’s unique combat system inspired by MOBAs, where Champions can dash, teleport, and unleash game-changing combos in a single turn.

With the all-new solo Campaign mode, battle in hand-crafted tactical missions: challenging clashes between the Champions, objective capture run, unique enemies and maps, large-scale battles, epic boss encounters and more! For players looking for more freeform battles, the community’s beloved Arena mode promises exhilarating encounters. Here, teams of three Champions face each other, capturing objectives or eliminating the opposition to earn enough victory points. Centuries after a cataclysm that shattered the world of Skygard, five factions send their Champions clash at a grand tournament for a mysterious, magical crown. But questions arise about this relic: will it bring peace, grant ultimate power, or lead to old secrets of Skygard?

Starting from Early Access, delve into Skygard Arena’s single-player PvE campaign, letting you play hand-crafted tactical missions to save Skygard. For players looking to show off their skills against AI or in online PvP, the Arena mode offers intense 20-minute matches. Build custom teams and outwit your opponent in fast-paced skirmishes designed for both casual play with friends and competitive ranking. With a focus on skill, Skygard Arena ensures a fair PvP experience with no microtransactions, creating a level playing field for all players.

Crafting your ultimate squad is key in Skygard Arena. Assemble a team of three Champions (from nine and more to come throughout Early Access), choose one of their two distinct Personas that modify their gameplay and skill sets, and adapt their power with game-changing Artifacts. Thousands of possibilities await to customize your squad to suit your strategy.

Engage in tactical skirmishes where every decision counts. Combine multiple actions per turn: from primary, secondary, and ultimate skills, to teleportation and objective capture, you have a whole range of tactical options at your disposal. On every turn, use multiple tools to reposition your Champions, such as movement points, movement skills and teleportation between Pillars under your control: always be on the move! Compete for control of Pillars to gain strategic advantages, or risk everything with a bold assault on your opponent’s Main Pillar for an instant win!
