Press release:
lille, France – October 27th, 2026 – Indie studio Ludogram (Monsters are Coming, Worlds of Aria) has today announced Heroes Never Die, a single-player, fast-paced survivor-like with a strategic twist. The game is set to release on PC in 2027 and aims to take the best of the survival formula and fuse it with more tactical decisions, real-time army building, and powerful fantasy heroes.
In Heroes Never Die, players choose a fantasy hero and command their ever-evolving army to fight brutal hordes of monsters as well as rival heroes. It’s an evolution of classic fantasy strategy and survivor tropes, delivering fast, fun, real-time tactical action and strategy you feel as you play. Players will be able to choose from 20 different heroes, each with their own skills, and start fighting mobs of enemies while gathering new troops and resources to upgrade their own town.
Heroes Never Die offers a fast-paced, thrilling mix of strategy and survivor gameplay built on the player’s choices, real-time army control, and high replayability. As they build their town, they must decide how to prioritise their resources and create evolving hero builds across 4 factions, unique heroes, and over 60 different units. So no two runs are ever alike.
“We’re delighted to finally announce Heroes Never Die, a project we’ve been working on in the shadows for a couple of years”, said Edouard Gaudel, Creative Director at Ludogram.
“We cannot wait to see our first players fighting hordes of monsters, and evolving their armies while meeting our heroes. Don’t forget to join our upcoming Playtest!”
Heroes Never Die is set to release in 2027 for PC. Survivor-like fans willing to get a taste of the game can now sign up for the upcoming Private Playtest via Steam. They can also wishlist the game and follow Ludogram on X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
