Barcelona, Spain –May 29, 2020– Independent game development studio Endflame release the demo of “Ikai” today, their upcoming first-person psychological horror game set in Feudal Japan, coming to Steam in 2021.

The story of Ikai revolves around the spirits of the past and the present of Naoko, the priestess of a temple. The thin limit between the world and the underworld had broken and you must seal it back.

Nothing bad will happen in Ikai if you do not disturb the devil. Experience the horror of old superstitions by the hand of Yokais –Japanese folklore monsters, ghosts and spirits– as you explore a haunted medieval shrine.

About Endflame
Endflame is a small indie studio of three people based in Barcelona, Spain.
They had previously worked together in projects from college and they have got together again to combine their skills, thus developing video games they would love to play themselves. Their aim is to immerse players into a remarkable experience by bringing stories to life. Ikai is their first commercial title.
