The rising indie Swedish studio Wrenfall today announced the official release date for its debut title, ‘Puzzle Parasite’. This clever cricket-bat-wielding sci-fi puzzle adventure is ready to launch on December 3, 2025, on Steam.

Crafted by a team of veteran developers hailing from Playdead, Ubisoft, Square Enix, IO Interactive, MachineGames, and Riot Games, Puzzle Parasite delivers a captivating solo and co-op experience.

Puzzle Parasite is a loving but challenging nod to puzzle games classics such as Portal, The Talos Principle and Antichamber that forged the genre. Set on an alien planet, players are equipped with telekinetic abilities, combined with a cricket bat to solve intricate environmental puzzles. Send energy cores flying, power alien technology, navigate light bridges and avoid lethal lasers as you delve deeper to uncover the secrets hidden buried beneath the surface.

The game offers a complete single-player path alongside a dedicated two-player co-op campaign, challenging players to push the limits of their friendships and work together to solve puzzles.
