The Lanzarote-based (Spain) indie games developer Rat Cliff Games are today very glad and proud to announce that their upcoming first-person survival horror game “Among Ashes”, is coming to PC (via Steam) and Playstation (PS5 and PS4) this December (2024).

Among Ashes is a first-person survival horror created by Ratcliff Games and published on PS5 by Dojo System that explores the dark secrets of a cursed video game and the disturbing story behind its creation. Set on a stormy night in the early 2000s, you receive on your computer a disturbing link from your friend: a horror game called Night Call that he has found in the darkest corners of the internet.

As you begin to play, what seemed like a simple challenge soon turns into a nightmare. Strange occurrences begin to haunt you in your own apartment… Something is terribly wrong with this game, and the line between fiction and reality becomes dangerously blurred. Whatever you do, even if you interrupt your gameplay, the game takes over for you.

Among Ashes will surprise you with its constant changes of register: from the conversations with your friend through Messenger and the realistic recreation of your apartment, to the survival horror Night Call, which pays tribute to 32-bit classics.
