The US-based indie games studio 8 Circuit Studios are today extremely proud, happy and excited to announce that they have just released the “Gemini milestone” update for their team based FPS/space combat game “Project Genesis” (the game is currently available via Steam Early Access).

The “Gemini milestone” update is packed with sweeping upgrades and refinements to the title’s core gameplay and mechanics.

Building upon the multiple game modes, avatars, battle craft, weaponry, and maps currently available in Project Genesis, the Gemini milestone raises the bar with a brand-new ice map, upgraded ship designs and weapon refinements, an experimental AI bot training mode, and the integration of a new mini map.

Experienced Pilots will find Gemini rich with enhanced functionality that propels gameplay to greater heights, while new Pilots will find support from the added training features that will familiarize them with the design and mechanics central to Project Genesis.

In conjunction with the Gemini milestone release, 8 Circuit Studios has implemented Steam’s exciting new Playtest feature for Project Genesis. For the first time ever, new players can test the full spectrum of what Project Genesis has to offer in a series of free open playtest sessions hosted by the 8 Circuit Studios team. Players interested in taking advantage of these open playtest sessions can request access on the title’s Steam page.

For players interested in picking up a copy of Project Genesis, 8 Circuit Studios will be offering its largest discount on the early access title during the upcoming Steam Lunar New Year Sale. The Steam sale is slated to run from February 11-15 and Project Genesis will be available for purchase at a 66% discount of the title’s current $29.99 early access list price.
