The Belgium-based VR and AR specialists/indie games developer Banzai Studios, today announced with great delight and excitement that their frantic locomotive VR shooter/rogue-lite “GAZZLERS” is coming to PC VR via Steam Early Access and Oculus Quest Store in early 2022.

Harness an arsenal of weapons as you defend a Western-style steam locomotive against waves of charismatic and chaotic creatures known as Gazzlers.

Taking the meaning of the on-rails shooter genre literally, in GAZZLERS you’ll fend off thousands of critters as you safely escort your trusty steam locomotive, The Motherlode. With randomised elements in every run, each cross-country journey across the arid landscapes of Ginkgo is a unique experience. Throw in dozens of weapons, items, upgrades and modifiers and you have a VR shooter that keeps pulling you back for one more go.

GAZZLERS features cooperative play with up to four other VR players. Successful runs unlock further customisation for your character to show-off their sharpshooting skills.

GAZZLERS features:

Roguelite VR mayhem that rewards players with unique experiences each run with an arsenal of explosion weapons and random upgrades.
Waves of wild and wacky critters besieging players aboard an armored train as it hurtles through an ancient and lore-filled world.
Team up with up to three friends and take on hordes of Gazzlers
Unlock cosmetics by completing challenges to customise your Pilgrim and show-off your hard-earned rewards.
