The Gothenburg-based (Sweden) indie games publisher/developer Thunderful and Sunderland-based (the UK) indie games developer Coatsink, are today very happy and excited to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their cooperative platforming adventure/puzzler “Astronimo“, is coming to PC via Steam on December 15th, 2023, at a price of £/€/$14.99.

There will also be a launch discount of 20% off which will run into the Steam Winter Sale from December 21st to January 4th.

Embark on an interstellar adventure with friends in the creativity-fuelled title that invites you to explore a vast and colourful solar system. The release date reveal trailer is appearing at Yogcast’s Jingle Jam event today, a special event that raises money and awareness for multiple charities that Thunderful and Coatsink are incredibly proud to be supporting.

Astronimo unleashes your imagination with unique customization tools, allowing you to build and shape your own creations such as planets, ships and characters. A 20+ hour campaign featuring multiple planets to explore will introduce you and your buddies to the solar system of Astronimo and challenge you to use your construction abilities to find solutions to dynamic puzzles. The game’s set of elaborate tools take you way beyond that, however, your imagination is the only limit to what you can build, from cool spaceships to entire planets full of detail.

While exploring the vast reaches of the galaxy, four Hypergiant Inc. employees crash-land on a small uncharted planet and become hopelessly stranded there. In the hopes of reuniting with their fleet, players must use their imagination to solve puzzles in creative and unique ways, build rockets to visit other planets and work towards the ultimate goal of collecting enough antimatter to power a portal that will get them back home. Play co-op with up to three others locally or online and work out how to get back home together.

“While we’ve built a fun campaign for players to get stuck into, what we’re really excited about with Astronimo is seeing the crazy contraptions and marvellous worlds that they build with the creation tools we’ve given them on December 15th,” said Isaac Page, Producer at Coatsink.
