Press release:
SEATTLE — July 26, 2022.
The Saint Petersburg-based (Russia) indie games developer Moon Moose and the Seattle-based (the US) indie games label tinyBuild, are today super thrilled  and happy to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their story-driven drug empire/business sim “Cartel Tycoon”, is now available for PC via SteamGOG, and the Epic Games Store.

Cartel Tycoon, the survival business simulator from developer Moon Moose and publisher tinyBuild, takes over PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG today. Drug lords can smuggle goods to PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One in 2023.

Build an empire from the ground and become the powerful drug lord in charge of an ever-growing cartel. Set up a supply chain of farms, labs, and research centers to efficiently manufacture the best products and recruit lieutenants to handle production, money flow–and laundering–and all other logistics while keeping the right government officials in your pocket and heat off the business. Explore the ins and outs of a fictional ‘80s narco trade-inspired country where staying on people’s good side and keeping rogue deputies in line are as important to a successful enterprise as a quality product.

Cartel Tycoon’s full release brings a new commodity, heroin, to expand business and bring in even more profits, but don’t forget to keep track of dirty money that might draw attention from the wrong government agents. Keep tabs on the competition with a reworked Enemy Gangs system that allows for more nuance, offering optional less violent ways to procure enemy territories, trade, and handle special missions.

The new Prison system provides kingpins with an alternative method of managing disobedient lieutenants while keeping their hands clean. Trade legal inventory with local populations for increased profits while Guerrillas maintain smuggling points loaded with firepower to defend operations. Complete quests to seize control of Special Buildings scattered across the map including an Airport to serve as a massive throughput, and a Military Base for secure production. Survival Mode presents a barbarous campaign while Sandbox Mode showcases endless customization for a never-ending run.

“Cartel Tycoon envisions the kingpin fantasy in full force while pushing the boundary of strategy and simulation games,” said Leonid Gorbachov, Creative Director.

“After an exciting Early Access run, we are happy to introduce the full release with new content and more options for players to customize their experience.”

Cartel Tycoon is available for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG for USD $24.99 / €20.99 today. It supports English, Russian, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish languages.

For more information, visit the official Cartel Tycoon website, follow the game on Twitter and Instagram, like its official Facebook page, subscribe to its YouTube channel, and join the cartel ranks on Discord.
