The Calgary-based (Canada) indie games developer Vivid Helix are today very happy and excited to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their award-winning cyberpunk kitchen automation game, “Neon Noodles“, is now available for PC via digital stores (Epic Games Store, GOG, Humble Games Store, and Itch.io.).

Immerse yourself in a ~TYRANNICAL~ cyberpunk future where food is the ultimate symbol of wealth and take charge of the futuristic food automation empire known as Neon Noodles. Do you have what it takes to pry humanity’s future from the clutches of corporate greed?

In the near future, food has become the ultimate symbol of wealth ~AND OPPRESSION~. While the remnants of humanity barely subsist on tasteless nutrient sludge, a few ~GREEDY MONSTERS~ feast on the finest delicacies, courtesy of the titular Neon Noodles Corporation. Thrust into this dangerous and mysterious world, you must rise through the ranks of Neon Noodles and uncover the dark secret at the heart of this megalithic corporate empire.

Neon Noodles is an open-ended puzzle game inspired by Zachtronics classics like Opus Magnum. Accept contracts for ~LISTEN, I DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME~ and use your ingenuity and a variety of different tools — everything from robot chefs to teleport stations — to build intricate production lines that transform 400 raw ingredients into over 250 delicious recipes, like Jollof rice, Spätzle or Fesenjān, ~NEON NOODLES ISN’T WHAT IT SEEMS~.

Use an intuitive record-and-replay system to design your own solutions for each mission. Make your machines as simple or as complex as you want, or obsess over optimizations in program size, speed, or area. Along the way, you’ll begin to discover ~THEY’RE LYING TO YOU~ the mystery of who you really are and ~PLAY ALONG FOR NOW~.
