The London-based (the UK) video games publisher Curve Games and indie games developer Lychee Game Labs, are today very glad and excited to announce that they have just released the full version (v1.0) of their monster-taming roguelike/Metroidvania ”Patch Quest” (the full version of the game is available right now for PC via Steam).

In “Patch Quest” players can mount and ride EVERY monster in the game! Fans can go on a monster adventure as Lychee Game Labs drops a colossal update for the official launch.

A work in progress of over seven years, Patch Quest was single-handedly created by one person on a journey to produce a one-of-a-kind roguelike, Metroidvania, monster-riding bullet-hell game.

Patch Quest supports two player local co-op and has been in Early Access as Liam at Lychee Game Labs has built a cult following, sharing the development process on his community Discord server and YouTube channel, which boasts over 4 million video views – not bad for one man and his passion to compete with some of the biggest franchises in the world!

“Patch Quest is a labour of love, and it’s grown into something that I couldn’t have ever imagined it would be at the start of this journey,” said Liam at Lychee Game Labs.

“While I don’t have a full development team, what I do have is an amazing community that has given so many ideas and a dedicated amount of play testing. Patch Quest would not have made it this far without them!”

The game is a deceptively difficult, delightful yet punishing, beautifully crafted hybrid of game genres that will lasso you in with its fast-paced gameplay and keep you coming back for more. Catch more than 50 monsters and expand your monster collection to fight your way through the island’s patchwork terrain that gets shuffled each night. Earn exploration gadgets as you play to unlock additional mechanics, collect over 100 plants, unlock gates, open shortcuts and unravel the mystery of Patchlantis.

Get ready to Leap, Glide, Surf, Tunnel, Bite, Slither, Websling and Explode your way through the game. Survival depends on bending the forces of nature to your own ends!
