The L.A.-based indie games publisher and game developer CAGE Studios are today very excited and happy to announce that the full version of their F2P crossbow shooter “Sherwood Extreme”, is now available for PC via Steam.

“Sherwood Extreme” 1.0 introduces a brand new Level Editor mode. Dream up levels alone or in online co-op and craft the perfect action movie scenarios. Challenge friends and fellow community members with creative maps mixing high-octane acrobatic combat with the chaos of a chemistry set.

When Sherwood Forest becomes overrun by goblins, the kingdom cries for its protector. Don that stylish cape, restock the quiver, and leap into action as the legendary Robin Hood. Traverse the colorful and diverse wilds of Sherwood including resplendent waterways, craggy castles, and breathtaking volcanoes. Set the stage for acrobatic accomplishments as the master archer swings into action.

Chain combos with slow-mo sniping, uncover silly secrets, and send goblins flying in every direction with a well-placed shot to a conveniently placed explosive barrel. Purge scores of the undead and try to survive as long as possible in Horde Mode. Collect power-ups to wreak havoc, save feathery friends, and cash in on loot to unlock more weapons, skills, costumes, and the game-changing Chicken Jetpack.

Save the day and climb the leaderboards with co-op shenanigans. Grapple onto a friend’s shoulders to become their backpack turret, firing bolts as a two-person tower of crossbow carnage. Settle personal conflicts in custom maps, crafting challenging courses while fellow archers play and offer live feedback on the design process.

Sherwood Extreme 1.0 is out now on PC via Steam for $19.99 with a 15% launch discount, with support for English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian languages.
