The Munich-based (Germany) indie games developer Chimera Entertainment are today very happy and proud to announce that the full version (v1.0)
of their story-rich strategy game “Songs of Silence, is now available for PC (via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store) and consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) via digital stores.

Songs of Silence is a beautifully crafted mix of strategic campaigns and fast-paced tactical battles. It is brought to life with stunning Art Nouveau-inspired visuals and energized by a compelling original score by composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 12). The game features a thrilling 15+ hour story campaign, 100+ Skirmish Maps, intense real-time battles, expansive multiplayer options, three core factions, 36 unique heroes, 118 units, and more!

In a world divided by conflict and sundered into realms of light and darkness lies an existential threat: the Silence. Players will play their parts in this all-consuming purgatorial holy war stemming from the unstable enlightenment age. Welcome to the Age of a Thousand Kings.

Fantasy Strategy: Lead your armies, manage resources, and conquer rival kingdoms in a game that blends deep strategy with engaging campaigns and multiplayer maps.

Fast-Paced Battles: Command your troops in real-time, utilizing clever tactics, powerful magic, and even divine interventions to outwit your enemies.

Three Campaign Difficulty Settings: Enjoy the story campaign in three different difficulty settings: Story-focused (Easy), Balanced (Regular) and Challenging (Hard). Each setting offers a unique strategic experience to cater to all playstyles.

High Replayability: In addition to the 15h+ story campaign, dive into 100+ Skirmish Maps tailored for single- or multi-player, free-for-all or co-op, up to six players. Three map sizes are available (S, M, L), 1- or 2-sided, for endless play!

Three Unique Factions: Each faction has its own gameplay mechanics, strengths, units, and heroes, offering distinct strategies and play styles.

Art Nouveau Visuals: Distinctive hand-drawn art inspired by Alphonse Mucha, Belle Époque, and Gustav Klimt.

Cards of Fate: Use cards representing actions and abilities to influence the course of battles and develop the strategic map.

Legendary Music: The game’s original soundtrack is composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, known for his iconic work on Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy 12.

Songs of Silence premiered on Kickstarter earlier this year and was funded in under eight hours. It was initially released into Steam Early Access in June 2024.
