The Melbourne-based (Australia) indie games developer Super Spin Digital are today very happy and proud to announce that they have just released the full version (v1.0) of their intergalactic rhythm game “Spin Rhythm XD” (the full version of the game is available right now for PC via Steam for 19.99 USD).

“Spin Rhythm XD” is a movement-based electronic music rhythm game in the style of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The game has fluid controls, with players spinning, tapping, matching colors, and beats to 60 hand-crafted levels across 5 difficulties. Play with real MIDI DJ gear as a controller on PC!

Spin Rhythm XD is big on customisation, with an included level editor and a suite of accessibility features, unlockable wheel skins and more. Fight your way to the top of the global leaderboards to become the best in the rhythm dimension.

Super Spin Digital (SSD) is an independent game developer based in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to bringing the golden age of gaming fun into the future.

Formed by veteran game developers Stephen Last and Shath Maguire who met at Halfbrick Studios working in “The Ninja Pack” – original creators of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, and adding Dave Curro, friend, colleague, and professional musician. SSD has brought together a small team of talent from across Australia to produce our dream rhythm game.

We were huge fans of Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, and Rock Band, and want Spin Rhythm to feel like the spiritual successor to these classic rhythm games with a contemporary aesthetic and soundtrack, as well as a focus on customisation and accessibility.
