The Shanghai-based indie games publisher Gamera Games and indie games developer TARO, today announced with great thrill and joy that the full version of their 2D sandbox RPG “Kerpleth” is now available for PC via Steam.

“Keplerth” is a classic 2D sandbox RPG set in a hostile alien planet. You can choose to live alone, fight side by side with your friends, or experience the calamity of online multiplayer.

In Keplerth, your fate is in your hands. With randomly generated maps and dungeons, you must survive, build, farm, fight, and explore your way to victory in this open-world adventure!

Keplerth leaves Early Access after 4 years of development. With over 1000 ratings, and 89% positive feedback, the full version of the game will include a clone system, a shelter management system with a shelter facility crafting table added, a monster invasion system where players can create traps and defensive facilities, and armed shelters to against the inhabitants.

The game is already available on Steam for $14.99 and will feature a 25% launch discount for the first week.

Features:

Randomly generated infinite worlds: Discover a rich biosphere, unlimited resources and all sorts of hidden crises just waiting to arise. Build an elaborate home on the surface, or explore the dangers that lay beneath the surface.

Gene editing and skill system: New gene editing and skill systems give players more complex character creation options. Put an end to the same old generic character builds by choosing from hundreds of possible weapon combinations, letting you create your own unique fighting styles!

Crop cultivation and animal breeding: Pick up tools, reclaim wasteland, manage your farm and reap the fruits of your labor. Become a breeding expert to make your farm the greatest this planet has ever seen.

Clone system: Obtain clone gene modules by completing with villagers, and use the clone hatch in Schipper Lab to create clones that can wear equipment and weapons.

Shelter management system: Manufacture various living and entertainment facilities for accepting survivors and making profits.

Monster invasion system: Monsters will build camps near the player’s base and launch siege operations against the player’s base from time to time. Create traps and defensive facilities, and armed shelters against the inhabitants.

Plenty of pets and mounts: Capture alien creatures and train them to be your reliable battle mounts.
