BORDEAUX, France – March 23, 2022.
The Bordeaux-based (France) indie games publisher Shiro Unlimited and indie games developer Shiro Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their medieval open-world tactical RPG “Wartales” (a game title which has sold more than 400,000 copies so far), is coming to PC via Steam on April 12th, 2023 (as revealed at the Future Games Show spring 2023 event).

Enter a land ripe with brutality, deceit…and opportunity. Untold wealth and dangers abound in the full version of Wartales, now exiting Steam Early Access with a cart full of new and updated community-inspired treasures. Alongside the 1.0 launch, traverse a brand new region bubbling with secrets unlike any the party has encountered.

Painted with snow-covered fields and dark intentions in the high mountains of Drombach, the beautiful but treacherous realm of Alazar awaits adventurers. Join native forces dispatched by the Church of Edoran to save the land from the divine Wrath of the Eye. Track down what — or who — has unleashed this destructive force with a reworked faction of Alazarian Soldiers and the Inquisition, proudly protected in Purifiers’ Guild armor.

Overcome new fauna and predators specific to the frigid front with superior turned-based tactics. The fall of the Edoran Empire led to a life of greed for many: form a loyal band of sellswords, each with a specific skill set, to accept contracts, collect bounties, and thrive in the dangerous lands ahead. Earn a deadly reputation, then make camp to train fellow comrades up to par and prepare for the next journey.

Wartales will be available Wednesday, April 12, 2023, on Windows PC via Steam with English, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Portuguese language support.
