Tokyo, Japan – 26th September, 2024.
Japan-based publisher Kakehashi Games and the development team at Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, are today very happy and proud to announce that their gorgeous origami-inspired 3D action platformer “Hirogami“, is coming to PC via Steam in 2025.

From a development team comprised of industry veterans (with production, design and art credits on the likes of Ace Combat 7 and Tekken 7, among others), Hirogami invites players to a world where everything has been crafted to convey the physical, often fragile, nature of paper, amidst the backdrop of an invasion by a powerful digital force known as the Blight.

Hirogami will be coming to PC (Steam) in 2025, and you can check out the store page here.

In Hirogami, players will explore a beautiful origami world as Hiro, a fan-wielding master of the art of ‘folding’. They’ll explore every nook and cranny to discover hidden secrets, unfolding into a sheet of paper to ride fiery updrafts, or becoming a paper plane to traverse dangerous chasms.

Players will also discover new forms to help them traverse the world, solve puzzles, and best their foes. Roll through obstacles and enemies alike as a hardy armadillo, traverse the treetops and pound pests as a mighty ape, and leap to previously unreachable heights as a formidable frog.

And everything is encompassed in a soothing soundscape – composed using traditional Japanese instruments and styles – specially crafted to evoke the variety of themes, characters and settings of Hirogami.

Hirogami will ‘unfold’ onto PC (Steam) later next year. Until then, follow @Kakehashi_Games on X/Twitter for updates.
