The Beijing-based (China) indie games publisher Thermite Games and Shanghai-based indie games developer Melancholia Studio, today announced with great thrill and delight that they have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for their gory medieval roguelike fighting RPG “Corpse Keeper“.

Furthermore, Melancholia Studio and Thermite Games have also just announced that a free PC demo is now available for “Corpse Keeper” via Steam as a part of the June 2022 edition of Steam Next Fest.

Corpse Keeper is a fast-paced Roguelike focusing on fighting gameplay while blending dungeon crawling and RPG elements wrapped into a gory medieval atmosphere. The Steam Next Fest demo offers a first glimpse of the game’s features and deliver a promising exciting and addictive experience.

In Corpse Keeper, you play as an unconventional protagonist, a demon’s servant who somehow decided to plot against him. You managed to trap the demon in the grand cathedral but only have limited time and resources to build an army of the enemies’ flesh and bones to engage in duels against the opponents, collect heroes’ souls and defeat the demon eventually.

More than 40 playable characters with well-designed vigorous attack actions, a variety of equipment and collectable items, as well as plenty of possible ability combinations grant you great freedom when creating your own builds. But please keep in mind that your undead army will gradually decay as you take them to explore the dungeons. In order to lead the team forward, you will have to adapt to changes and achieve dynamic balance.

Corpse Keeper will launch on Steam Early Access in Q3, 2022 and a final version will be available for PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox one and Xbox Series x/s in 2023.
