Seoul, South Korea – February 27th, 2026 – Independent developer Studio BBB has today revealed that heartfelt puzzle-adventure platformer MONOWAVE will launch on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and other consoles in 2026. As part of the IGN Fan Fest 2026, Studio BBB has also unveiled a new full-length trailer introducing the game’s emotionally rich journey, its cast of colourful characters and different emotional settings.

In the new IGN Fan Fest 2026 trailer, discover the cast of colourful characters and distinct emotional realms featured in MONOWAVE. Meet Mono, a newborn Guardian tasked with restoring balance to a broken world by reuniting the four Emotions: Anger, Anxiety, Happiness and Sorrow. As the guardian spirit of the Emotions, Mono can use emotional powers to interact with the eccentric inhabitants of each world, and soothe the rampage of isolated Emotions before they cause even more destruction. MONOWAVE offers a moving journey of empathy that blends platforming, puzzles and emotional storytelling into something both cozy and meaningful.

To celebrate IGN Fan Fest, a newly polished demo for MONOWAVE is now live on Steam. Players can experience Chapter 1, roughly one hour of gameplay, exploring World 1, “The Panic Jungle,” a realm consumed by anxiety. Here, they’ll learn the core emotion-based mechanics and face the first boss encounter, offering a hands-on introduction to the game’s heartfelt world. Studio BBB has also officially relaunched the game’s Discord server, creating a dedicated space for fans to connect with the team, take part in community events, and follow development as momentum builds toward launch.
