The Düren-based (Germany) indie games publisher Headup and Hannover-based (Germany) indie games developer com8com1, are today very happy and excited to announce that their critically acclaimed horizontal 3D shmup “Rigid Force Redux” (which has received positive reviews on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch), is now available for Android devices via the Google Play Store.

Blast off into the treacherous depths of space as you side scroll your way to victory, accompanied by an electrifying synthwave soundtrack, stunning environments and lovingly hand-crafted 3D models.

Rigid Force Redux offers you the ability to arm your fighter with numerous upgradeable weapon systems and supplemental Force Shards, dealing devastating firepower to your foes! Gear up for a multitude of battles against huge swarms of enemies, heavy gunships, laser wielding mechs and giant alien creatures that will test your mettle to the max. Every enemy has its own unique and challenging strategies, from the tiniest creature up to the largest boss.

In Rigid Force Redux your story takes place around the planet Therra where you are part of a military space organisation fleet called UPFF (United Planet Freedom Forces).

Your task is to take on combat missions to protect allied planets, with assistance on your journey provided by artificial on-board intelligence of the Rigid Force Alpha,

PSYE. PSYE acts as an advisor as you undertake your voyage among the stars. If after all that, you’re still gunning for more, try the challenging Arcade and Boss Rush Modes, defend your ranking in the global leaderboards and grab all 40 achievements.
