Strange happenings occur when three children in Southeast Asia meet a new neighbor. Twist and turn through a dark narrative as they attempt to make a new friend and nightmarish visions emerge. Terrifying, otherworldly energies lurk behind the seemingly normal apartment block. Seek dark secrets hiding underneath reality’s foundation, and reveal the block’s uncovered truths.

Explore relationships between characters through choice-based conversations unlocking various narrative perspectives. Converse with residents, complete minigame challenges, and try to maintain the sanity of a youthful crew as they endure a night of Ghost Month. Dip into Paper Ghost Stories’ haunting universe ahead of the upcoming Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open, the first full-sized game in the series, launching next year.

Learn the full story through multiple playthroughs by making different decisions. Coming in at around an hour of playtime, discover an eerie world in the “paper theatre” aesthetic inspired by the paper puppetry of Southeast Asia. Experience a coming-of-age drama authentic to Malaysian culture through soundscapes recorded on-location. Adventure into the unknown and see why 7PM earned the SEA Game Awards 2020 Grand Jury Award, Best Game Design, and Best Visual Art.

Paper Ghost Stories: 7PM launches Friday, October 28 for $3.99/€3.99/ £3.49 on Xbox consoles. For more information, follow Cellar Vault Games and Chorus Worldwide on Twitter, and visit the official Paper Ghost Stories page on Chorus Worldwide’s website.

“7PM was where it all started, and we’re happy that Xbox fans will have a chance to witness these first cryptic events.”

About Chorus Worldwide
Chorus Worldwide is a global publisher composed of gaming veterans with experience at world-renowned companies including Microsoft, Supermassive Games, and Electronic Arts. Originally created to guide indie developers into the rapidly growing Asian markets, Chorus now works with talented developers across the world, including Argentina, Indonesia, and Malaysia, to launch games globally, finding huge success in titles like the acclaimed Coffee Talk, and the Asian releases of The Room and The Room Two.

About Cellar Vault Games
In 2015, Benny Chan Beng Lee and Eshan Jayatilaka, two students in their final year of game dev studies, played Hideo Kojima’s infamous P.T. with the rest of their team. So inspired were they by the experience, they applied those principles to their graduation project, The Plight, and then set up their own studio in Malaysia.

Continuing to be inspired by their formative experience, Cellar Vault Games makes horror and mystery titles infused with a local flavour. The team hopes to continue broadening its scope, embrace the burgeoning talent of the Malaysian game dev scene, strive for the highest quality, and unlock the next hidden gem in the vault.
