The Spain-based indie games developer ManiacBoyStudio today announced with great excitement and joy that they have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming pixel-art 2D/3D top-down horror/adventure game “Skeler Boy” (the game is being in development for PC, Android, Game Boy, and the NES).
“Skeler Boy” is a pixel-art horror atmosphere game inspired by films from the 70s and the 80s such as ‘The Exorcist’ (1973), ‘The Shining’ (1980), and ‘Neverending Story’ (1984).
“Skeler Boy is an intriguing 2D top-down adventure including conversations, objects, riddles and other surprises”, says Antonio Rodríguez, CEO at ManiacBoyStudio.
To experience an immersive 3D feeling, Skeler Boy can be played using the classic 3D glasses with a red and green lense which were widely spread in the 90s.
Skeler Boy will be released on different platforms depending on the accomplishment of the following stretch goals:
€6,000: PC And Android
€10,000: Game Boy
€30,000: Nintendo Entertainment System
The versions of Skeler Boy for Game Boy and NES will include cartridge, box and manual.
