Switzerland, April 21, 2026 – Solo Developer nospace lost, and indie publisher Shoreline Games, have today revealed side-scrolling, slice of life anime-inspired Kick for Steam. Kick sees players dribbling a soccer ball on their way to school as they kick, jump, and run through various levels, avoiding damaging items, collecting new skins for their ball, and basking in the nostalgic childhood joy of seeing the whole world as their playground.

With pedestrians to dodge, and obstacles to avoid, Kick challenges players to master the art of soccer ball physics – kicking the ball at just the right angle to ensure their trick lands exactly how they planned. From bustling streets and scenic beaches to shaded underpasses and sprawling parks, Kick’s story takes players on a journey through The Kid’s morning as they spend time practicing their skills in the park, run a little faster to catch the train, and take well trodden shortcuts to shave much needed seconds off their travel time.

Alongside the coins to collect, challenges to complete, and soccer ball skins and flags to unlock, there’s a whole world for players to uncover as they race the school bell with their canine companion and soccer ball in tow.
