The latest game from MythicOwl mixes a challenging, arcade ‘dasher’ with an added value of a language learning app. The studio puts a lot of emphasis on education and each of their games contain such a factor, cleverly built into gameplay mechanics.

This time, it’s purely about improving our language learning skills with word-association being one of the most effective ways of doing so. The newest MythicOwl’s production will offer a set of different game modes – with ‘Arcade’ mode targeted at those players, that don’t want to learn languages, only play the game for fun.

Trancelation will be fully compatible with the most popular language learning platforms, as it will feature open vocabulary lists – players will be able to download lists from their favorite apps, carry them to Trancelation’s library and share with community. It is a great addition to the language puzzles genre, as no previous game before offered such solutions.

“I love how technology helps us to learn languages, but as gamer, I struggled to find a product, that’s simply ‘best of both worlds’ – a game that improves my lingo skills and puts my agility skills to the test. So I decided to make such a game myself.” – says Piotr Korgul, developer behind Trancelation.

Players can already add Trancelation to their wishlists on Steam. It is expected to be released in Q1 2019.
