The Prague-based (Czech Republic) indie games publisher Fulqrum Publishing and Gdańsk-based (Poland) indie games developer Byte Barrel, are today extremly happy and proud to announce that their Lovecraftian horror FPS “Forgive Me Father 2“, is is now available for PC via Early Access through Steam, GOG, and EGS.

With the recent demo ranking in the top 50 most-played in the recent Steam Next Fest, this supernatural shooter is a must-play this spooky season.

The Early Access release of Forgive Me Father 2 includes 10 nightmarish levels, spread across a variety of dread-inducing locales as they continue the story of the Priest from the critically acclaimed first instalment.

Prepare to hold up the Dark Tome and a wide arsenal of 10 unique weapons against the terror of the Great Old Ones, as they distort the protagonist’s memories and create an intense fight for survival against the hordes of the undead and other Lovecraftian abominations.

Drawing inspiration from various FPS subgenres, including classic boomer shooters like Quake and Doom, combined with modern mechanics, unique visual style and Unreal Engine 5 technology, Forgive Me Father 2 offers an action-packed retro-meets-cutting-edge love letter to all FPS fans.

Building upon the original with a darker story, players are now entrenched deeper into the mythos, with equipable Dark Tome pages to upgrade your madness skills throughout the story.

Be that healing wounds with Lifesteal, becoming more powerful with Might, boosting fire rate and reload speed with Haste or reducing incoming damage with Resistance, players can give their minds to the Eldritch apparitions to improve their chances of survival.

Throughout the early access period, regular updates are planned to greatly increase the amount of levels, weapons and content, alongside bug fixes and updates from community-based feedback, creating a title over three times the size of this Early Access release.
