Press release:
Valencia, Spain – November 14th, 2022.
The Valencia-based (Spain) indie games developer Chibig team are today super thrilled and happy to announce that their magical adventure “Mika and the Witch’s Mountain” is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch) in 2023.
Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is about a young apprentice witch who must make a living delivering packages to the inhabitants of a small seaside town with her magic broom. Mika will be able to improve her broom thanks to her new job, so she can explore the rest of the island and discover all the secrets it hides.
Prior to launch, Chibig has announced its intention to launch a Kickstarter campaign in early 2023 to polish the last details of Mika and the Witch’s Mountain and meet the expectations of the gaming community.
Last October, attendees at the Indie Dev Day in Barcelona were able to try the first demo of the game and feel first-hand the freedom of being able to fly freely with your magic broom.
Thanks to all the feedback gathered, the team is now preparing to present an official demo for the Steam Next Fest, which will kick off on February 6. The general tone will maintain what was seen in the Indie Dev Day demo, but with some new features, English translation and bug fixes.
