PARIS (June 7, 2026) – Publisher The Arcade Crew (Drop Duchy, Abyssus) and developer Runes Studio today revealed Wardens of Avalon. This medieval, Dark Arthurian ARPG adventure enlists you as a member of the newly formed Legend of the Twilight Knights for a simple but world-altering goal: restore the fallen Kingdom of Avalon. Wardens of Avalon is launching on PC next year and features a campaign playable entirely in co-op or as a lone hero; sign up to be one of the first to experience the legend via a Steam playtest debuting later this month.

Wardens of Avalon blends traditional survival crafting with basebuilding elements and a dynamic combat system. Draw your blade against overwhelming bosses that will take everything you have to overcome.

With your fellow knights by your side or daring to go alone, you’ll venture into the island of Avalon, exploring and conquering complex, challenging, handcrafted dungeons and climatic battles with legendary bosses aiming to end your quest before it has truly begun. Every region you explore offers its own unique challenges, enemies and resources to collect. Each battle requires precision, stamina management and a deep understanding of enemy behavior as you battle through different, intense combat phases.

From there, you’ll return to your small keep with your newly acquired treasures to rebuild, expand and protect Avalon. Establishing new districts within your fiefdom will deepen possibilities through new buildings and workshops, adding blacksmiths, druids, herborists, apothecaries and more to your land. The corrupted Knights of the Round Table seek to make sure you never reach salvation – you must be ready to fend them off and protect your new kingdom.

Enjoy unrestricted freedom in adapting your Twilight Knight’s strengths for your playstyle and the challenge at hand, altering your build as you see fit without the restraints of a traditional character class system. Gather and craft mighty weapons or astonishing suits of armor, buff your gear with powerful seals and uphold oaths for powerful boons – whatever it takes to surmount the trials you face. Develop the intuition to masterfully dodge or parry attacks in battle while mastering the elements in Wardens of Avalon, overcoming all who dare to threaten the knights or the dawn of a new Camelot.
