Gothenburg, Sweden – June 8th, 2023.
A new trailer that debuted today revealed that SOS’ (Sad Owl Studios) and Thunderful’s anticipated first-person puzzle adventure, “Viewfinder“, is coming to PC and PlayStation on July 18th 2023.

Players will be excited to learn that a PlayStation 5 demo for Viewfinder is available to play right now and will also be coming back to PC for a limited time only as part of the Steam Next Fest, running between June 19th and June 26th.

Viewfinder’s innovative gameplay lets you reshape reality to solve puzzles as you explore a beautiful world full of mystery. Photos, paintings, sketches, screenshots and posters can be placed in the world to become a fabric of its reality, reshaping the environment around you. This unique mechanic delights in the way it plays with perception, evolving in surprising directions that keeps players challenged with every new puzzle they encounter.

The new Viewfinder trailer showcases the playfulness and creativity that exudes through every aspect of the game. From its aesthetics to its mechanics, Viewfinder always has the capacity to surprise and this new trailer gives just a hint of what will be possible when it hits PC and PlayStation 5 this July 18th, 2023.

“We’re so happy to be launching the game so soon, we know that game development doesn’t end and there are definitely things that we want to improve on. But at the same time, the core of what we wanted to make is already there. And we’d be more than happy to just keep making games if this does well.” Gwen said.
