Critical Ops has now over half a million followers combined in different channels and YouTube influencers have published a staggering amount of over half a million Critical Ops videos! Critical Ops’ Discord server is also currently one of the biggest in the world with over 54.000 members.

“Year 2017 was phenomenal for us in many ways. Our game became one of the de facto standard mobile eSports games and our staff more than quadrupled last year,” says the CEO of Critical Force Veli-Pekka Piirainen. “We’re very much looking forward to 2018 and we have many great milestones ahead of us such as the official release of Critical Ops.”

Critical Force
Critical Force is a game developer from Finland focusing on competitive multiplayer games for mobile. The company’s first game is a mobile FPS title Critical Ops. It has been downloaded over 34 million times and over one million people play this pioneering mobile esports game every day. The company received a $4.5 million seed investment from Korean game publisher conglomerate NHN Entertainment in 2016. Critical Force has offices in Finland and South-Korea. Critical Force was also awarded the best Finnish game developer of 2016.

Critical Ops
Critical Ops is a competitive first person shooter (FPS) predicted to be the next breakthrough game in eSports. The game, which has seen a soft launch for Android and iOS, has already achieved massive success via 17,5 million downloads and 670.000 daily gamers. Critical Ops’ ideological forefather is the hugely popular computer game Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). The same basic gameplay formula is shared by both games. Two teams armed with modern weapons battle it out in arenas. Counter-terrorists try to prevent terrorist attacks in realistic present day environments. The most important distinctions between these two games are the gaming platform, team size and length of the game rounds.
