The video games publisher Hero Games and games developer Pan Studio today announced with great thrill that their much-anticipated fantasy ARPG ‘Duet Night Abyss’, is now officially available worldwide for free on PC (via EGS) and mobile (iOS and Android).

The hybrid action fantasy RPG launches with all characters and weapons free to unlock, the stamina system entirely removed, and the freedom to mix and match outfits and weapons to create your own distinctive combat style.

Over 15 million players pre-registered in the lead-up to launch. To thank players for all the support, all users can now claim a special in-game reward bundle via mail, including the exclusive character Berenica, 25 Pristine Hourglasses, and various enhancement materials and cosmetic items. Players should follow the official social media channels and the community hub “Lumina Corner” for the latest updates, event details, and exclusive in-game bonuses.

Through its dual-protagonist system, players can freely switch perspectives in Duet Night Abyss’s fantasy world. They will experience an intertwined story told from two distinct perspectives, with each chapter revealing a new layer of the fantasy world’s mystery. The game launches with 19 playable characters, including the male and female dual protagonists from the Chapter Noctoyager, and features a highly flexible appearance customization system.

With the launch of the new monetization system, Duet Night Abyss completely removes the star-rating structure for characters and weapons. All characters and weapons can now be obtained for free by completing in-game stages, with no stamina restrictions of any kind. In combat, players can combine melee and ranged weapon types to craft their fighting style and enjoy fast-paced, visceral action.

This is complemented by the movement system, which is no longer limited by stamina. Various mobility techniques, including Helix Leap, Sprint, Grappling Hook, and Wall Jump. It allows players to customize three-dimensional combat approaches and eliminate enemies with agility, while also better meeting the needs of fast traversal across maps. Combined with the multidimensional combat buffs provided by the Sigil system, players can change up their attack patterns to enhance their performance on the battlefield.

A limited-time reward event will run during the global launch period. Players who complete the specific missions can enter prize draws for cash rewards and exclusive Duet Night Abyss merchandise. Special community campaigns will also be held on TikTok and Twitch, inviting players to join and celebrate together. Players can redeem the gift code revealed during the Special Preview Program livestream to claim their exclusive launch rewards.

Duet Night Abyss is now available to download and play for free on PC through the official launcher or the Epic Game Store. A Steam version is coming soon.
