The Cheyenne-based (Wyoming, the US) indie games develöper Gamage, today announced with great delight and thrill that their mythological roguelike/RPG “Run Heroes Run“, is now in development for PC.

Furthermore, Gamage has also just announced that they have released a PC demo for “Run Heroes Run” via Steam. So be sure to give the said demo a try, and “if” you like it, then you might want to support “Run Heroes Run” on Kickstarter.

The monsters of Tartarus reigned down on earth. Now, all human civilizatio n, and even the gods themselves, call upon you for your divine help!

In the hour when darkness shrouded the light of the gods, the monsters of Tartarus poured down upon the earth. The gods, once unshakable, are now weak as children, and the people are defenseless. Resurrect the age of great heroes and wanderers, and fight back against the creatures of Tartarus!

A Heroic Roguelike Adventure

Run Heroes Run is an action roguelike combining real-time combat with active pauses, adding comfort to the fast-paced genre. Assemble a team of three iconic heroes, each with various active and passive abilities, and equip artifact sets to enhance their abilities through the end of your run. As you fight across a procedurally generated map, encounter classic battle events, merchant shops, and campfires to rest your weary team. The end of each domain features a final boss that lies between you and your next adventure. With limitless skill combos and endless build possibilities, every run in Run Heroes Run promises a unique adventure for everyone.

Explore Mythical Realms

Awaken the sleeping powers of legendary heroes and explore a variety of environments along your adventure. Venture through the darkness of Hades’ underworld, the swamps of Aretemis’ Misty Forest and the reefs of Posidean’s Rocky Coast until you reach the gates of Zesus’ Olympus. Prepare for battle against over 37 blood-hungry foes, including the frightening Phantom Guard of the Underworld. As a procedurally generated adventure, complete various quests full of humor and rich storytelling with plenty of campfires, merchants, and artifacts to discover.

Build and Grow at Hades’ Estate

Between your epic runs, return to Hades’ estate to upgrade your base and prepare for the next adventure. Materials collected throughout each run will be handy here, where you can exchange them for consumables and other character upgrades. As with every roguelike, death isn’t absolute; it’s merely a step toward revealing your true strength. The hero who reigns victorious shall decide the fate of both the gods and the people in this exciting mythological roguelike!
